I am sure you have all seen the commercial. They have some great videos about how they did it. Quite amazing.

when all you have is v-tac you have to think of something to occupy yourself while driving I guess....hondas....then again a dsm probably would end up breaking down before it finished the song lol

I personally hate that commercial and see no purpose on what drilling slits on the road to make music has anything to do to make a person buy a civic honestly.

I am not so sure it has anything to do with buying a Honda. Just like that commercial they did years ago that was a Rube Goldberg machine where all the parts of the car caused something else to happen, etc.. It had nothing to do with buying the car. Just a commercial. (http://www.tabloidcolumn.com/honda-accord-cog.html) Still cool.

The coolest part of what they did here was that they really did this to a road outside of Lancaster, CA. And they have video (number 5 of 5) of actual, unsuspecting people driving down the road. LOL!

I believe it was the 3rd musical road in the world. the others are in japan and korea. It has since been paved over due to noise complaints from nearby homeowners. Still pretty freakin' cool.

Thats what i thought! but if you watch homemade youtube videos of people driving over it, you can see a subdivision just before you get to the musical part.

LoL Glenn...I know, its my opinion and I know there are others that won't agree. I am surprised the Cali DMV approved Honda to cut slits on the road to make "music". Obviously its not really the middle of nowhere since its more of a annoyance to nearby homeowners.

I am curious of Honda paid to repave the road or its state/county that has to foot the bill. If so...tax payers get the great joy to pay for work to fix the musical road.
