I know I know.... Another boring ass stang kill.
I decided to take the 'long' way to work this morning to enjoy the cool brisk air (and may find some unsuspecting victim). While waiting at a light, a yellow mustang pulls up behind me. :D I'm thinking, "Well, with him behind me doesn't do me any good. I'll smoke him off the line, and that will be the end of that." The light turns green and I take off relatively easy. I shift to the middle lane so he can come up next to me. He 'blasts' by me, but I don't do anything because there's a light that just turned yellow up ahead.
(Aside: good thing I decided not to race him then because there was a trooper going the opposite direction)
Anyway, at the next light there's a car ahead of me in my lane, but nobody in front of the mustang. I pull in behind him knowing I can't launch. I guess the HP will have to pass him. He takes off! I follow and switch to the middle lane. 1st... He got 2-3 car lengths on me, and I'm not catching up on him. 2nd comes quickly. I'm almost even with him. 3rd... DAMN the car is pulling! I check the timing gauge. Wow, it's close to 20! I stick my arm out and wave to him, "Buh Bye"! 2, 3, 4 car lengths. He musta given up. :devil:
At the next light he pulls up next to me, "What you got in there?!??!?!" "Nothing much, just a little turbo." "Damn that thing is FAST!" "Thanks." "Well, I need to learn how to drive this thing, it's my first stick, and I want to get a turbo soon." Traffic started moving, and I gave him a last earfull of turbo/bov.
Hmm... maybe it's a good thing my fpr broke.
