Looking good, Carlos. I like the second pic with the fountain background and the car looks great (I love the looks of the '97+s) but the third one's background composition is a little off. :) The three little trees kill it. You might also want to try and remember to take the picture with the sun at your back if you can.

Car looks great, even if it is begging for a front mount. :D Heck, that third pic is actually kind of cool just for the different textures and effects of the light on that silver paint. :)

(I know you were just testing the camera, but I'm all about constructive criticism. ;) )

Thanks, that backround is the little town inside the community where I bought my house.

True. I like the way the car looks, but the backround does suck. Will have to Photoshop it or something.

Very true, that's why the pic with the fountain came out best.

And some RIMS!!!!

Another one of my favorite pictures :)

Was at the bookstore and stumbled upon the PhotoShop manuals, all kinds too. Average price was $40!! I skimmed through a few and learned minor things.

How's this Jack.... I know, this is the easy crap :p

Awesome job Carlos! You keep this up and we'll have to call you Glenn Jr. ;)

Now if you want a real challenge (or if Glenn wants a challenge) try to substitute the construction site in the background for a beach scene. :D

I have the vision.

Glenn, that looks really nice. I really want to be able to use Photoshop well but I don't have the time. Anyone know of any ways to learn it (books, tutorials, websites...)?

 Thanks Glen, those are cool. I was planning on taking some nice scenery pics for fun and then cutting and pasting the car.

Dennis- go to Barns and Noble at the Mall and go to the section where they have the software manuals, or just ask the employees. There are more than a dozen of PhotoShop 6.0 manuals. Just skim through them to get some ideas cause they're not cheap.

There are tons of books out there. One of the ones I like is Photoshop magic. Teaches you neat things. :)

There is also a cool website out there. I will have to find a link and post it here. :)

Photoshop can be fun if you have the patience.

Carlos: Great job cropping out those trees... you even took them out of the window so you can't see that they were ever there... NICE!

Since we're sharing Photo-chops... I've got one I'm proud of...
Here's a comparison photo of the original pic and the my photoshopped one:

[Okay... my attachments were all screwed up on my previous posts... you can delete my previous 2 posts to clean things up a bit.]

[Done! --GS]

I added a "carbon fiber" hood, lowered it, removed the spoiler and cleared the bumper lights. :D

Nice Matt.

I like this look:

Is it PhotoShop though??? Hmmmmmm.....;)

Agent Smith
May 19th, 2002, 11:41 PM
my guess whoud be no because of how the light is refracting off the intercooler vs the black piece on the bumper cover, and also if you zoom in to the upper right of the fm you will notice a difference in the over all line of the black piece.but over all untill you take a close look at it, it looks real. good job:bowdown:
