I went there once (when I was looking for a 2g too) and drove 2 of them... they seem like a honest dealer.... normaly the cars are in decent shape but when they are cheap it mostly due to high milage... I almost buy from them but I did not find what I wanted....
Shelton, I will email you, maybe we can talk about business.....

I bought my 90 laser from them about 3 years ago. They were one of the few dealers I didn't have a problem with.

That's a pretty significant endorsement. Fabio has a ton of stories of why he hates car salesmen.

I brought my 95 GST from them last year. They where pretty good and the car was in great condition, had no problems (until nitrous plus 23psi on a stock intercooler on pump gas...:tofar: :tofar: )

When I was in my search for a car, I went to them. They have a very organized business. They didn't give me all the hassle that other dealers did. If I would have found something that I would have liked, I would have done business with them.

Thanks for all the feedback. I went their today to look at this black 97 Talon w/ 71K miles. I was very impressed with how laid back the sales staff was they didn't try to pressure me into buying on the spot. They simply asked if I was going to buy today or just look. I gave them an answer and they didn't even try to get me to change my mind. They actually knew about the cars that they had for sale. My sales guy started to spew technical info to me on the Talon I was looking at and the 3KGT VR4's they had.
The exterior of the Talon I went to look at was really nice. However when I sat in the car somethings didn't seem right.
The sunroof shade was missing. Interior trims didn't fit properly and there were some holes drilled in the dash.
When I poped the hood the engine looked clean and was in stock condition except for three HUGE holes toward the front of the car.
One Hole was in the metal frame behind the passanger headlight the secong hole was in the same place on the drivers side and the third hole was in the drivers head light :tofar:
The other 2nd Gens looked good also however I was really interested in the Talon so I really didn't pay them too much attention.
Overall it was a really nice dealership. I will look there again in the future.

Moved these posts to the GG/BG forum for reference. I have been talking to Jurgen via email and phone and have been pleasantly surprised so far. No real run-around, pretty honest answers, and respected that I didn't want to waste his time and he didn't waste mine.
He says they pick up 2G FWD turbos pretty regularly, but the AWDs are few and far between.

My brother recently bought a 3000GT SL from them and it was great, Jurgen's a cool guy but they have a $600 administration fee, that my dad wasn't too happy about and he brought it up to him and Jurgen said that they have to put that b/c it's pre printed in the contracts, so he lower the car price by $300 b/c we thought it was steep. No problems with the car, they are definatly good guys, they take care of the cars that they sell, and they don't bs you. The only thing I've noticed about them is most of the cars they have , esp. the 2 mustang cobras, have low tread on the tires, my brother needs to replace his tires soon too, but other than that, theyre a great place!

i had nothing but bad expieriences from them and wouldnt advise anyone to go there. i know 2 other people who had similar expieriences. they didnt have the actual key to my car, just the valet key, no remote for the keyless, they shipped me one after i called and told them about it but it was to another car, so it didnt work. they wouldnt let me test drive the car since i wasnt 18, and they wouldnt even LET ME RIDE IN THE CAR WHILE MY STEP DAD DROVE IT WITH THE GUY! i wouldnt ever go there again.

I don't think any dealerships (Well..at least ones with good cars) will let any individual under 18 test drive a car especially a "sports" car.

maywood mitsu in jersey offered me a test drive in an EVO. The Collection in miami beach let me test drive a brand new carrera 4. but thats besides the point. they wouldnt even let me ride in the car during the test drive. im thinking that maybe if i didnt make it look like i knew alot about these cars i would have at least gotten to ride in it....

bringing back from dead
a girl i know recently bought a car from them and it went to ****. first of all it was a 97 gst, that had no intercooler (yes nno intercooler just a exhaust pipe conecting the 2 hoses) no turbo intake filter (yes no turbo intake filter) and 2k miles later timing belt went when they said it was just replaced. only 71k on it. just a warning don'tdeal with them. after she got home and showed me the car (a week later) i personally called them up and they said that some dsm's didn't come with side mount intercoolers and that they had no idea about the filter or intercooler. thanks mike

You sure you are talking about The Sharp Car Store in Sanford and not the Sport whatever on 17-92 not too far from 436?

I bought my Camaro from them a few weeks ago and had no problems. I guess it's just the situation with them. Don't talk mods with them b/c they don't know what the hell they're talking about with that. Other than that, if you go with them, just check out every little thing about the car, ask for the carfax (they will do it for you), and everything should be cool. I'd give them two thumbs up for acr selection, but one up and one down for service. Oh, and you can't test drive unless you're 21.

bringing up from the dead.
I had a major problem with these people. Jurgen isnt there anymore and its some other guy. He was giving me the run around for almost a week untill I talked to his secretary and found out that the 95gst I was interested in was already sold. :wall: They seemed nice and all in person but maybe they are afraid to tell you when the car you want is already sold. He tried to convince me to by a gs but i said no way.
Oh well, atleast because of that I looked elsewhere and found a gsx.
