Well I went out last night to catch some races, and the car suddenly died, still has power and everything. Threw a check engine light, according to tunerstein it was error code 43 egr, and according to mmcd error code 22 crank angle sensor. If anyone has any input as to where I should start to look for the problem pls help! Thx.

Considering the CE light I would start looking at those exact places. You did not really describe the problem. Does it start now etc?

No the car will not start again, not sure if its getting spark or not. (although if its the crank angle sensor I don't think it would get spark at all)

Your car does not have a crank angle sensor but it does have a cam angle sensor. I would start there. If it is not starting then look for the things needed for it to start. Air, spark, and fuel. Check to see which one it is not getting and go from there.

Not calling you a liar but according to my chiltons book I have one. But then again those books aren't the greatest....?

Crank the car over and see if the logger reports RPM. If it doesnt then replace the CAS. Problem solved.

Logger does not show rpm, already tried a new mpi realy and new ecu :wall:. Geovannie, Chad said you might have a cam sensor laying around, he thought he had one but couldn't seem to find it. If you have one pls pm me or give me a call as soon as you can. Phone 407-599-5801. That goes for everyone else too, if you have one pls let me know thx. :D

I am bumping this back up because the car still wont start. I checked the mpi fuse and it looks fine. I have tried a new mpi relay, a new ecu, and also a new cam sensor. Car still wont start and still the same error on the logger. My last thought is that maybe its something as simple as a broken wire. I am completely out of ideas so if anyone has any ideas for me they are more than welcome.

not sure if you answered this on another board, but compression test the engine yet?

If the tach doesn't work and the car won't start try replacing the power transistor. It's the little black square under the coil packs.
