I checked my next 6 month policy for my geico and they raised my rates 20 bucks a month. I called them and they said the rate class for the EVO has jumped up, so its a higher risk vehicle. Anybody else have this BS happen to them?

Its due to all the recent Evo crashes that have been going on lately :lame: ! I hope i dont see an increase when i renew my 6 months again. Hey mike how much you pay a month in ins with Geico? I was just about to call this week for a quote.

I was paying 145 now its like 162. I have fallen under the radar/laser more often than I would like.

It is nice to have a Radar Detector, but it is really not needed.
Most speed traps revolve around City streets where the posted speed limit is under 50 mph. No need to speed around town and weave in and around traffic and slam on breaks hard! Leave the speeding to the Highway, where common sence and skill will protect you, :skep:  .

I can't imagine having to pay that much. My TSI is the high car in my family at ~69 a month.

 Wow! Maybe I'll think twice about gettin' an Evo!...not like it's goin' to happen anytime soon, but still. :skep:

Guess it depends on the company and your age...as well as your record! :dist:

Exactly Jose, cause $236 is more than double what I pay a month.
