Shitty video, but Scott was definitely owned. What is Brad's ride?
383ci third gen camaro, nitrous, th400 trans. Ran 10.3 @ 132 I believe on the kit, and mid 11s or so on motor. Hes real hard to beat on the street, but its been done before.

its definitely not unbeatable, its just hard. Mainly because he hooks so well on the street. He is running a pretty big tire, its auto and he has it dialed in. I doubt a 700awhp DSM can hook-up as good in 1st and 2nd as he does.

I have a friend with a fox that wants a shot, but I don't know any DSMs that are up to the task..

you bringing the Talon down anytime soon Frank?

I dont see any dsms on the street getting this 383ci car till atleast the 1/8 maybe a lil sooner unless it on all out slicks w/an auto trans, were going to need a shitload of mph to pass him, specially on the street. It cuts 1.3 60's..going to be hard to play catchup with him. Now if were talking about roll racing well...alot of people have him covered.

I just noticed that Frank was talking about the 700awhp Evo that was in the video.

but about the roll racing thing, i think you will have that covered.

I'd like to see what his 330' and 1/8 E.T. and MPH are and then talk about if it's not possible. With a decent spooling turbo and a good trans/suspension setup, the AWD will hook great on the street. My car actually hooks better on the street than at the track (not hard to do considering the track here in Orlando SUCKS).

PS-Scott, not sure yet what happened, Jose has to tear into it. I'm pretty sure I sheared a tooth/teeth off a gear or the intermediate shaft.

I think it would be a close race between him and stacy. If he does trap 132 stacy is at 140. (IF) they both run a great run. I know what stacey is saying our car is the same way it hooks better on the street also. But it is racing you never know.

Stacy you willing to come out one night and go from a dig with kowboy? I think he already knows your car though b/c he knows your neighboor with the mustang and spoke about you once before. We need more dsm respresentation on the street.

You would need to run him from a roll though, if you sold your slicks...

Now that I know what Brad's car is and what it actually does I'd run from a dig or a roll, on street tires. I still have the slicks but don't want to use them. Frank, why don't you take them off my hands!?

that would be an exciting race to witness.

On a side note, I wonder how long its going to take someone from OF to see that comment, and and spin it to sound like you were talking shit.

It turns out Brad is a friend of a friend of mine here on the board, so there should be no trash talking on OF, and I know I can get it set up It would be a good friendly race. I definitely need to get the car on higher boost for it though

HERE is a video of kowboy racing a few people. Among them is a PT Cruiser. He lost the first race by a car...

It spells that there were two more pulls with different outcomes. I however, don't have anything to prove and don't really care.

383ci third gen camaro, nitrous, th400 trans. Ran 10.3 @ 132 I believe on the kit, and mid 11s or so on motor. Hes real hard to beat on the street, but its been done before.

I think it would be a close race between him and stacy. If he does trap 132 stacy is at 140. (IF) they both run a great run. I know what stacey is saying our car is the same way it hooks better on the street also. But it is racing you never know.

Now that I know what Brad's car is and what it actually does I'd run from a dig or a roll, on street tires. I still have the slicks but don't want to use them. Frank, why don't you take them off my hands!?
Let me know if/when you want to set this up, Id im sure id be able to make this happen.
It turns out Brad is a friend of a friend of mine here on the board, so there should be no trash talking on OF, and I know I can get it set up It would be a good friendly race. I definitely need to get the car on higher boost for it though

hehehehheeh hi guys. i been lurking for a little. i am so down to run you stacy i have seen and heard of ur car and its sick IMO

Brad, thanks man! I took a look, my best 330' time is a 4.44 with a 1.59 60'. My best 1/8th is 6.65@112.71 so I'm not sure how that compares to your 1/8th.

That makes a little more sense! I heard you can't run at Speedworld, that would be perfect.

There are a few spots (none close by) its just not like it used to be.
I don't know how your car hooks on the street Stacy, but +1 for OSW. At least then, you could have spectators without having a huge crowd to draw attention.

So if you go Sunday and they don't recognize you, you pretty much have 1 shot at getting a very fast run in.

Where can you find the list of required safety equipment per run time?

You used to be able to get it a NHRA.com, but now you have to buy it . Pretty much, if it's not an NHRA track, other than cage (11.99 and faster, for a 4 point), seatbelts (factory is good till 11.99 also IIRC), helmet (usually 13.5 or 12.99 and faster) and a chute (150 mph), the rest, long studs on drive wheels, engine diaper, fire suppresion, etc, is usually as per the track.

No, nothing set up yet. I haven't found out yet about the trans, and I have a stock spare trans in the car now which I'm not going to race on. I'm afraid to try and shift it at 9000+rpms and also on a stock center diff...

lol yeah I do not not think I would take that kind of a race unless the car is 100% as a dsm can get.
