Thumbs down BAD GUYS - All OEM Parts, Inc. (They Have Many Names!)

OK, this is going to be kind of long as I want all this information to be picked up by google.

I recently went online to order some parts for Rusty and I for the Talons. We found an item we wanted and started to research it for the best price. This is when All OEM Parts, Inc. was discovered. They run multiple sites on multiple hosting companies. All have different 800 numbers but they all have some major similarities. They have a live help link that goes to the same live help server. All the sites, same site id. So the "live person" on the other end has no idea what site you are actually looking at.

Now, all the sites (and there are a lot! See the list.) have the same prices and item numbers, etc... With the exception of a few. The prices were different on a few of them.

I ordered from one of the sites that had a cheaper price on stuff. I figured at this point, if a company was big enough to have so many sites, they would have to be legit and they must have missed an update on this sites prices. So I was going to cash in on it.

I placed the order using my Visa Check Card. The total came to $1837.86. I have more than enough in the account to cover this and yet they claim my credit card declined. Really? Hmmm, that is not correct.

Here is the email:

Quote:

Dear, GLENN H SHELTON III

Order Number: 2007555

We regret to inform you that your credit card is declined for your purchase. This may be due to a simple typo, however your credit card company did not provide a reason for the decline.

Please call Patty or Qiana in the Processing Dept @ 1-866-503-5154 .

(1-609-890-7927 for international customers ONLY).

I pick up the phone to call my bank and I suddenly get the next email. Here is what is said:

Quote:

Wire Transfer Information

Shipping & Handling: $

Total: $1837.86

Wire transfers are required for various reasons. If your order meets one or more of the following criteria, you will be asked to complete a wire transfer for your order.

2) If your order is over $500.00 and is shipping internationally.
3) If your order is shipping to an address other than your billing address.
4) Oversized items and orders that must be shipped via truck freight.

If your order is being shipped outside the continental U.S., please make sure to take shipping and handling charges under consideration before transferring payment. The shipping and handling charges should be included in the initial transfer.

To complete the transfer, please see below for pertinent transaction information.

***PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REFERENCE YOUR ORDER NUMBER ON THE WIRE TO ENSURE QUICK PROCESSING OF YOUR ORDER.

Company Name: All OEM Parts, Inc.

Bank Address: Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd Mercerville, NJ 08619
Routing Number: 031207607

To ensure quick processing of your order, please e-mail Customer Service when your transfer is complete. It may take 2-3 business days for the transfer to come through.

A WIRE TRANSFER? I don't fucking think so!

So I try calling the phone number that was in the email that said my card was declined. All I get is a recording that says they are expiriencing a high call volume and that I need to leave a message and someone will call me back. No one called me back. What a suprise. I call the next morning right at opening and what do you know? High volume of calls again! I leave a message again. (At this point I am only looking to cancel the order! Wire Transfer = SCAM!)

So I try a bit later to call... You guessed it... High Call Volume!

So I emailed them at the customer service email. (I just replied to the one they sent about my CC declining.)

This is what my email said:

Quote:

I have called and can NEVER get through to a human! I have left voice mail multiple times.
Your company seems shady and makes me nervous. CANCEL MY ORDER! I will
buy from someone else. Please have the decency to reply to this email to
let me know you have CANCELED MY ORDER. I will phone my Credit Card
company to be sure the charges are not put through.

Thank you for your time but I will not be wiring you any money. I will also be looking into your company and contacting the proper authorities if necessary.

Glenn H. Shelton III
They wrote back:

Quote:

Hello Glenn,

The order is canceled per your request.

Customer Service
This bothers me more than anything else. If someone wrote to me and said they thought my company was shady and scammers, I would argue it and try to make it right with the customer. (Mainly on $2000 worth of order!) Not them, they just let me go! This sets off a HUGE red flag to me!

So anyway, here is all the sites I know of that are the same company. If you do a google search for All OEM Parts, Inc. you will see a bunch of sites too.

That is the acct to which the wire transfer "would be" made to. The bank that this Billybobscheapcarpartsandscamsforfree.com uses.

woa... do they own the .com business?
I know I seem many of those names, maybe even order from a bunch of them. But never had any trouble with them though.
I fix a bunch of cars that needed oem parts in the past few months and searched online for the cheapest. I did order from the cheapest that I found but never had any issues. Sorry can't remember where I ordered them but pretty sure it was one of those. I have to dig into my receipts when I get home.

This was in my inbox this morning:

Quote:
Jamie Pisz via email

Hi,

Read your post on DSM and thought might find this intresting. I am not a member so thought maybe you could pass it on to spread the word.

Thanks,
Jamie

( ALL OEM PARTS, Inc. ) as company name. The number that I have called is 1-888-348-5487 in making orders and such.

I start off by making an order 2 weeks ago for a cooling fan for a 2001 330i bmw Manual. I confirmed with the guy on the phone 3 times to make sure that this was the car that this part was for. He assured me it was. I receive the part 4 business days later to find out I got the wrong part. They sent me a cooling fan for a 1999 318 bmw. I don't know how that could have happened, yet continued to make things right with the company and decided to order yet another fan from them. The price went from $149 to $200 this time. I spoke to 3 different people that day confirming that again this fan was for my car. I could have not been more careful to check every detail with them including. address, email, what the part was for ect. Last person I spoke to was the supervisor ( Janet). She told me everything was in order and that I would receive the part in 4-7 business days and that a rma # and sticker for ups would be sent to me for return of the item which was a mistake. One week later I've heard nor seen anything. I got nervous so called that number again. I'm told that nothing was ever sent to me because the item was out of stock. If it was out of stock, then how did the order go threw in the first place ? Why was I told everything was in order ? Why was my credit card charged the amount of the purchase ??? Why did no one even try contacting me to let me know there was a problem ? I've now been out of a car for 2 weeks because of a company that doesn't seem to know what’s going on. Makes it a bit difficult to get to work that way. I again asked to speak to the supervisor which made my order ( Janet ). I was told that she was busy and to call back in a hr. Customer service... how bout calling me ? So I call back in a hr. to be told that she had left for the night. You got to be kidding me ! So ask to speak with a person in charge to deal with my matter. I'm told he's on break and to call back in 10 mins. WoW ! What choice do I have ?!? I call back and speak with another person which after 5 mins I find out is Janet. Yes the very person that left the office for the night. Not but a few mins into things she tells me... not ask me to go on hold because she has someone else on the line. This is a supervisor ?!? She comes back and I explain my frustration with her. She tells me that she has no idea what happened and where things went wrong. I am told that she will call me back in 20 mins after looking into things. Never heard from her. I have spent countless hrs on the phone now. No one ever calls me back. I have no part coming to me which I was promised. I have a $150 part in my garage waiting for a ups sticker to send back that is worthless to me. I have been told now 3 times that someone will contact me about the sticker. Nope, never have. Not in all my life have I dealt with people that are so clueless and unprofessional. I have put stop payment on my credit cards and await for someone to contact me.
We really need to spread the word and stop this company!

Glenn I just read all this today, I have used "The Parts Bin" many times with no problems and high quality parts. Not to say you weren't getting ripped but just thought I would post and let people know my experience with "The Parts Bin". As for the other sites I have no experience with any of them.

I am in no way doubting that these guys are out to make a quick buck and I do not intend this post to be defending them by any means.

That being said, I did buy a muffler from autopartswarehouse.com several months back. I received the muffler by UPS in just a couple days, it shipped from Jersey (609 area code is Jersey) and I live in Ohio nowadays. Granted it was only $100 (for my DD), so that may be part of it, but I have no idea.

Hope things work out for you Glenn. Keep us posted on the outcome of everything.
