Seriously though, I read up on it and it seems there was a study where they tested a child's self control. They had to sit there for 15 minutes with nothing to do and nothing to play with (other than the marshmallow! LOL!)
The study was over a period of 18 years (not these particular children) and it showed that children with the ability to resist eating the first marshmallow in order to obtain a second one, did better in life when making decisions.

^^ That is pretty cool, but I have to call BS on it.
First of all, it takes way more water for a slip and slide than 2 buckets. (Mainly at that speed.)
Next, Newton said it just would not work! He forward momentum would not just stop when he hit that little pool. If you notice, NONE of the lateral movement is transferred into the pool. (Anyone who has ever been in one of those types of pools, knows they are not stable.) The side furthest from the ramp would have taken so much force it would have collapsed.
Finally, that pool is so shallow that from the height he entered it, he would have slammed into the wooden deck.
Still a cool video. And it did make me chuckle.

Each Friday night after work, Bubba would fire up his outdoor grill and cook a venison steak. But all of Bubba's neighbors were Catholic and since it was Lent, they were forbidden from eating meat on Friday. The delicious aroma from the grilled venison steaks was causing such a problem for the Catholic faithful that they finally talked to their priest.

The Priest was called immediately by the neighbors and, as he rushed into Bubba's yard clutching a rosary and prepared to scold him, he stopped and watched in amazement. There stood Bubba, clutching a small bottle of holy water which he carefully sprinkled over the grilling meat and chanted, "You wuz born a deer, you wuz raised a deer, but now you a catfish."
