Nice! I like this idea. No chit chat! Only post deals or comments on deals. If you try a deal and it fails, post it so the thread can be cleaned up.
I would submit, Your Honor, that if someone is doing something demonstrably asinine, and I ask them to stop it, please, and they say, "Make us," they've entered a binding oral contract whereby I am permitted, even obligated, to try to make them.

    No chit chat!

(..for the record, don't buy the BS that Monster sells. They got their start in long distance transmission cabling, and they try to push that science on short length cables. Fortunately for them it sells well. I challenge anyone with an inductance meter to show me measurable and/or visually noticeable signal loss on cheap short length cables. HDMI is a digital signal, it doesn't degrade like analog. If the hdmi cable is crappy, the image will look like satellite tv during a hurricane. Check this write up at http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/field-not...ble-266616.php where even Monster themselves have to use a 30ft cable to prove their worth. Monster Cables' wikipedia entry cites that article.)

Here's a 3 pack of 6ft HDMI cables for $12 not expired yet:
    http://www.pcmicrostore.com/PCMS-3-P...0&SSAID=101512

The deals at http://slickdeals.net/ tend to expire quickly, which is why it's good to make it one of your home pages.

Yes and no. Not a bad price, but not a great TV. Low contrast ratio and only a 60HZ.

Nice of you to post it here though! Thanks for looking out!

    Just so everyone knows...

3d READY means that by adding in an additional processing unit, the TV will display 3D content. This is different than 3D televisions that are already capable of doing so.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but it has saved me $50 in the last two days.

    http://www.retailmenot.com/

It works like this, type in the URL or company name, and it pulls up promotional/coupon codes, as well as other advertised sales. It rates each code with a success percentage.

    AdvanceAutoParts .com

    coupon codes:
    $10 off $30 - ES123
    $20 off $50 - ES123
    $25 off $60 - BIG25
    $30 off $75 - BIG30
    $40 off $100 - BIG40
    $50 off $200 - BIG50
    20% off any order - P20

FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $75 (for those items that aren't in stock)

They say one per customer, you cannot stack the coupons... but you can reuse them with a different account by making a few transactions.

A member of another local forum claims to have used the BIG30 and BIG40 a few times with different accounts ("same information on each account, with different email addresses and different pick-up locations") kinda shady, I know. If you don't want that weighing on your soul, you can find comfort in the $50 off $100 future purchase credit you get for spending $100 or more with the code "ENCORE".

I would submit, Your Honor, that if someone is doing something demonstrably asinine, and I ask them to stop it, please, and they say, "Make us," they've entered a binding oral contract whereby I am permitted, even obligated, to try to make them.

Even God says we should bear arms. Luke 22:36 And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.

    EDIT:
Seagate 2TB external hard drive (NEW)
    $89.00 free shipping
    Uses USB 2.0 only
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148503

*This drive has received a few bad reviews on newegg. I have been using the 1Tb version paired with my xbox360 to store and play movies, music and TV shows for almost 2 years. It s full, is used almost every single day and hasn't given me any problems.

Here is a Western Digital 2TB external for $99

16GB Flash Drive $12.99 shipped, after $10 mail in rebate (rebate expires August 15th)
    http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/5661....0-flash-drive

Great thumb drive, very tough rubberized exterior with a nice cap. I think I paid $50 for this same model two years ago, and it was worth every penny.
